From the I-64 area
Take the Fifth Street exit off I-64. Turn left off the exit ramp if coming from the west, turn right off the exit ramp if coming from the east. Go into Charlottesville on Fifth Street – approximately 3 miles, during which time the street name will change to Ridge Street. At the junction of Ridge (Fifth) Street, Main Street, Water Street, and South Street, there is a large statue of Lewis and Clark and a stop light. Go straight thru this light (you used to turn left on to West Main Street at our previous location). At the next stop light, take a left onto Preston Avenue. Stay in the right lane. At the 4th stop light you will see our building looming in the background. Take a hard left in front of the building, then a right into the driveway. Park in the rear.
From U.S. 29 North area (Greene County, Greenbrier, Woodbrook)
Take 29 South toward Charlottesville. When 29 South intersects the 250 Bypass, take the right turn exit onto the 250 East Bypass (towards Richmond). Follow the 250 East Bypass to the traffic light at McIntire Road. Turn right onto McIntire Road. (The Rescue Squad Station is on the corner.) Follow McIntire to the intersection of Preston Avenue and McIntire and take a right onto Preston Avenue at the 2nd stop light. Stay in the right lane. At the 4th stop light you will see our building looming in the background. Take a hard left in front of the building, then a right into the driveway. Park in the rear.
From U.S. 250 West and the Ivy area
Go east on U.S. 250 to the exit for the 250 Bypass. Get onto the 250 Bypass and go north and east toward Washington, DC/Richmond. Do NOT get off the Bypass at the Washington, DC exit. Stay on the Bypass until you get to the traffic light at McIntire Road. Turn right onto McIntire Road. (The Rescue Squad Station is on the corner.) Follow McIntire to the intersection of Preston Avenue and McIntire and take a right onto Preston Avenue at the 2nd stop light. Stay in the right lane. At the 4th stop light you will see our building looming in the background. Take a hard left in front of the building, then a right into the driveway. Park in the rear.
From the U.S. 250 East area
Go west on U.S. 250 toward Charlottesville. Cross Free Bridge, you are now on the 250 Bypass. Stay on the Bypass to the intersection (traffic light) with McIntire Road. (The Rescue Squad Station is at the intersection.) Turn left onto McIntire Road. Follow McIntire to the intersection of Preston Avenue and McIntire and take a right onto Preston Avenue at the 2nd stop light. Stay in the right lane. At the 4th stop light you will see our building looming in the background. Take a hard left in front of the building, then a right into the driveway. Park in the rear.
